It's Lori here today to share my take with you on sketch #69, courtesy of Majo! Here's a reminder of what sketch #69 looks like:

And my card based off of it:

I have been trying to work on my granddaughter's first-year album, so I thought I would make a card to use in her album. At first I thought I would use this card for a journaling card, and I may still, but I'm thinking maybe, if I can find the right photo for it, that I will make it a photo card instead. Time will tell!

I also made a couple of coordinating cards to go with it. You may recognize one of them based off of  sketch #67 from last month! Head on over to my blog to see more about it!

We are offering up a fun prize for this month. All you need to do is play along with any of our sketches in May and link up before May 31st for your chance to win this:

Guest Designer Lisa's Take On Sketch #66

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! We have made it to the weekend, and it's actually a nice long weekend for us!

Today we have another Guest Designer joining us - the super talented Lisa Hidy!

I am so excited to be a guest designer for Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style today! I started scrapbooking in 1997 shortly after the birth of my son. I joined my first online group in 2007 and after receiving inspiration and encouragement from fellow online scrappers I started my own blog: My Creative Endeavors. I love using sketches as a starting point for my projects and layouts. In 2012 myself and a friend started a sketch challenge blog called Sketch N Scrap.  I enjoy creating sketches to share with fellow paper crafters and to see the creativity it inspires in others.  When not creating sketches, cards, or layouts I enjoy attending my son's band concerts, sporting events, reading and traveling!

Here is a look at this week's sketch, courtesy of Majo, that Lisa worked with:

Lisa created this super cute page element based on the sketch. Aren't these colors just so pretty together?!

Here is the right hand side of a double page spread that she included her page element on:

Both pages together:

Not only did she make this beautiful layout, but she created this beautiful card based off of the sketch, as well:
