Guest Designer Lisa's Take On Sketch #66

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! We have made it to the weekend, and it's actually a nice long weekend for us!

Today we have another Guest Designer joining us - the super talented Lisa Hidy!

I am so excited to be a guest designer for Sketches in Thyme Project Life Style today! I started scrapbooking in 1997 shortly after the birth of my son. I joined my first online group in 2007 and after receiving inspiration and encouragement from fellow online scrappers I started my own blog: My Creative Endeavors. I love using sketches as a starting point for my projects and layouts. In 2012 myself and a friend started a sketch challenge blog called Sketch N Scrap.  I enjoy creating sketches to share with fellow paper crafters and to see the creativity it inspires in others.  When not creating sketches, cards, or layouts I enjoy attending my son's band concerts, sporting events, reading and traveling!

Here is a look at this week's sketch, courtesy of Majo, that Lisa worked with:

Lisa created this super cute page element based on the sketch. Aren't these colors just so pretty together?!

Here is the right hand side of a double page spread that she included her page element on:

Both pages together:

Not only did she make this beautiful layout, but she created this beautiful card based off of the sketch, as well:

Guest Designer Natalie's Take On Sketch #66

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope your week is off to a good start. We have a special treat for you today - our first guest designer!

Please help us welcome Natalie!

I have been been scrapbooking for almost 20 years, but adding Project Life into my process 4 years ago was a game changer! I love to create traditional layouts with corresponding pocket pages to scrapbook all of my photos. My favorite things to scrapbook include my two little boys, Disneyworld and holidays!

You can find more of Natalie's beautiful work on her blog - Dillightfully Crafty.

Here's a look at the sketch, courtesy of Majo:

Here is Natalie's super cute card and layout:

There is so much cuteness going on on this layout! I love the strip of rainbow paper on Natalie's card, and oh my word, those photos are adorable!

Stop by Natalie's blog for more about her layout.

Thanks, Natalie, for being our guest designer!
